*When frosting a cake, it’s important to keep the
flavors of both the cake and the frosting in balance.
A rich, luscious cake does not require a thick layer of overly sweet frosting. Instead, go for a lighter frosting and allow the pure vanilla flavor to burst forth. If, however, your cake is less sweet, you might like to push for a sweeter frosting with a more robust sugar taste.

*Very useful tips.
& since my mud cupcakes are very high in chocolatey & sweetness,
I should put less frosting on top of it to keep it in balance.
Youngsters,teens,kids maybe like the sweetness but adults
they cant deal with too much sweetness stuffs.
I wont change the cake's flavour or ingredients as they are perfect & unique the way they are.
Just need to balance with the very sweet frosting.
Oh yes, to those who doesnt like sweet frosting,
tell me & i shall make less sugar taste for you. :)

Had family gathering at Zain Cafe yesterday night.
Thanks Aunty Jamilah for the treats & celebrations!
Cos her daughter Syahira got the top student for PSLE agg 275 at Haig Girls Pri Sch.
Congrats darling Syahira! U deserved it! She worked so hard for it!

Yesterday went for Ninja Assassin Treasure Hunt held at Heeren!
Got came out in newspaper abt this Treasure Hunt game.
Winner got $900 worth gift.
But too bad, hubby & I din make it to the grand prize!
Lol, we wasted too much time on one qn itself & I was so slow with handbag wearing slipper & all, hubby was annoyed.
hahahah. SORY!! :)
Next time, i shall wear shoes,tied my hair up & a shert
& ull be shock I can run so much faster. hahahah. =)
N we got prizes consist of black book,Ninja Assassins's posters,
Macdonald Vouchers & etc.
We will receive urban male flipflops worth $40 soon. :)

HOW EXCITING. :D
There will be Henna Ceremony on Friday afternoon

So I made use of this 3 colours for the mini stand.

Excited & Nervous

Okay,tell ya something.
I got selected to be DMU's models for this event.
DMU-dollmeupcosmetics,the business owner is Nazlin Hilal,very talented lady.
Got selected long way back and Im so damn excited for the combined models practice
and the day of the event dec 19th which going to be held on a riverboat.
Hady Mirza & Chef Siti Mastura will be there too.They will be one of the judges.

Excited or what?!! hehee. Very nervous also cos I have to catwalk on stage.
Omg,its been so long i got up on stage. Lagi2 ni ramai org2, got celebrities also.
N shit, hopefully i can pull it through with the catwalk. haha.
So yesterday was individual makeup trial/practice with em.
haha,totally kecoh people mannn. gereks. But i was so shy cos got their husbands la.
Then have to pose somemore. haha.

Brieftly this is how Im going to look on the day of the event.
Just that the hair need to be done by hairstylist as well.
Since they said I have strong features,sharp nose, long eyelashes,
I should go for the softer look. N so they gave me this flower theme. PINK :)
N they liked my kimono shert. Matches with the makeup.
Well,its a makeup competitions by makeup artists using the dollmeupcosmetics
and total there are 15 models,I am one of them.
Mann,im nervous. :) EH, I love the makeup. Especially the stick foundation.
Not too bright,and has more natural tone like my skin. Going to purchase soon! :)
Okay,I have to buy a beautiful Black,Pink or White dress!

Bro said this Oreos cheesecake is the best among all the flavours that ive made
cos hes a cheese lover. But me? Im a chocolate lover.
Definitely prefer the muffins and mud cupcakes.
But trust me, I dont bake or sell anything that is not delicious or up to my expectations.
Cos I love good food and I love to eat, and so I only sell delicious cakes.

Hubby's & Mak's birthday celebrations.

Making the MUD BIRTHDAY CAKE.
Melting the Chocolate..
Chocolate Melted.

Combined the ingredients together and mixed it.

The final cake batter.
Purposely added in chocs chips and rainbows on top of it.

In the oven. *smell so yummy*

Pink buttercream Icing to spread arnd the cake later on.
Purposely made pink color instead of brown.

Baked with loves!
Peeled off the grease paper.

Spread the buttercream icing and put it in the fridge.
Still need to work on it. :) Tapi nmpk sedap kan?!

The tiring process. Knead the fondant dough and separate it into colors.

Purposely made YELLOW FONDANT CAKE. :)
I always used dark colors. So this time i tried something very bright and happy color.

Decorated withh fondant Pink ribbons and peach flowers.

With fondant dark purple pearls all arnd it.
Its still look kinda dull and so i added in...

FLOWERS! I love this flowers. so cantekkk. But expensive sehhh.
Not edible. Mainly for just decorations. At least it stand out a bit.. :)

Another people's all time favourite- CHOC CENTRE CHIPS MUFFINS. :)

Japanese toddler survives being run over by train

TOKYO (AFP) - – A Japanese toddler who strayed onto rail tracks got away with scratches Monday after a train ground to a halt on top of her, police and rescuers said.

The driver spotted the girl standing on the tracks in Suzaka City, northwest of Tokyo, and applied its emergency brakes, local police said.

The train stopped with the girl beneath, they said.

She was alive and trapped in the 50-centimetre (20-inch) gap between the train and the tracks, rescuers said.

"It could have been a tragedy. It's a miracle that she survived this way," a rescue worker told the TV Asahi network.

Double Choc Cake with Fondant Icing

Went Geylang Bazaar just now. damn packed. very tired,
time consuming & hottt. Hubby went somewhere and i met him over at Eunos mrt.
Just a short distance away from Geylang Bazaar.

Cuteness.

We managed to get the things that we r searching for but
sadly,hubby liked this baju kurong alot but no more size. =(
We r disappointed. Tau beli cpt2 biler the 1st day of puase kite g geylang that time.
Haiz. Still,he bought blue baju kurong to match with mine.
Dont be surprise if i keep wearing blue for raya, what to do,
Blue is still the bestest color in my eyes. Tk jelak2.
I love my 2 kebayas. Normal design but since this is the first time everything is
fully covered, im quite excited to wear it. =)

Aniway, I made this Double Chocolate Cake with Fondant Icing(wedding cake fondant icing)
yesterday! walla! So happy. =) But tiring nak mampos.
Hope u enjoyed looking at it. :)

-Making the Double chocolate cake.

Melted chocolate plus other ingredients.

Mixed all the ingredients together.

Chocolate Buttercream Icing.

Spread the Choc Buttercream Icing all over the cake. Chilled for while in the fridge.
I rolled out flat the colourful fondant that i made n covered it
onto the double chocolate cake which already has the buttercream spread all arnd it to make it
stick. It was so much fun. Like arts. Have to enjoy and be creative.

I used the Fondant smoother to make it clean n looked nice. I mean-meratakan. =)

Walla! Final result! zooom!

Colourful Fondant Icing

Made fondant Icing last 2 days.
The process was such a mess. So sticky,so gooey and I need to knead it alot of times
till the dough din stick to my hands. So tiring,but so much fun ya know. :)

buttercream icing and chocolate fudge for the inside layers of the cake.

I was on the phone voted for Farhan when hubby came n disconnected it.

Menu for today- Spaghetti with herbs & spices & mud pie cupcakes.

I can make more creative wonderful designs if i want to but since
this cupcakes are meant to be eaten instantly, I just gave it a lil bit of decorations.
Unless im gifting it to people den definitely i would decor it with unique designs.
I know I have no problems in decorating but I shall keep on making different kinds of flavoured chocolate cupcakes to see whats the difference & which is the nicest sinfully chocolate indulgence. Practice makes perfect.

So here are my mudpie. I did some changes in the recipe & it turnt out just the way I want it
to be. Sinfully Chocolate Indulgence.
Since the break-fast is around anytime soon, I din manage to make the frostings.
Oh yes,i need to buy other icing colours too.

Sis wanted hers only to stand out from the rest.

Yesterday I watched PS.I LOVE YOU with hubby darling.
I know the movie was released way back but finally we did see it halfway yesterday.
I thought its a boring love story.
But when I see it, the story is just like my love life story.
They are married, we are married.
They argued just like how we argued. Scream. N such small lil threatening
as in at the end of the word the guy will use ,'OH ELSE...' followed by the girl
fast assuming ,"U WANT TO LEAVE ME?! DEN GO!,
N the guy replied," I DIN SAY IT THAT I WANT TO LEAVE YOU. DO U WANT ME TO LEAVE YOU?!!
The girl replied,"NO U R THE ONE HU SAID U WANT TO LEAVE ME?!!
Stupid small misunderstandings and assuming like just both of us that can lead to a baseless heated argument.
The girl wanted to have a bigger apartment n babies. Just like I do.
N the guy is a bit reluctant but he is working hard n trying his best to fulfil all theirs desires
just like my darling husband hu is now an allied educator. He worked hard ,he climbed the stairs all by himself.
N another eg when the girl already show tantrum n blabber so much and the guy cant take it anymore
n scream at her," WHAT ACTUALLY DO U WANT?!! I KNOW WHAT I WANT N IM WORKING AT IT. BUT WHAT DO U ACTUALLY WANT?!!
COS U BETTER TELL ME NOW COS IM TIRED CHASING U ALL OVER TRYING TO UNDERSTAND MYSELF!! (HAHAHAHAHA!!!)
U WANT A BABY,LETS DO IT NOW. WE HAVE A BABY! (HAHAHAHAHAH)
Omg,the girl seriously like me. Show tantrum,said stupid n hurtful things just to argue n argue
but nvr look and understands the situation. N so followed by the 'leaving2' part argument n the guy left.

Fews secs later, he came back and said....
"ARE WE DONE BABY?" AWWWWWWWW.
N the girl jumped right into his arms n apologised just like the way i did.
But erm....I din jump romantically like her laaa! hahahahahahaah!! Kalau yer pon,thats all confidential!
N he made it clear again, 'THERE NO WAY I WILL EVER LEAVE YOU. REMEMBER THAT. I LOVE YOU. DONT EVER SAY THAT AGAIN.
I WILL NVR LEAVE YOU NO MATTER WHAT. Remember,Im not like ur father."
The girl replied,"I love you too much."
N everytime hubby & I got sucha heated arguments like this, he will said the same thing to me.
Cos im just like the girl said whatever i like when arguing and the guy is always the patience one.
N in a flash they got back together doing things they are supposed to do together.

N then the nxt scene,the guy died bcos of the brain tumour.
Now,I dont wanna be that girl in the story. =''''(
They hold a memorial service for him. The girl smiled in front of others but hold back all her hurtful tears.
Gawd,I can feel her. Really I do. Cos the memorable time she spent with her late husband is
exactly how im spending time with my darling husband.
I dont want a same thing to happen to my husband. I love him too much n so dependent on him just like the girl.
So when he suddenly gone, she got back alone to her house which filled with all her husband memories,their memories together
every nook n cranny. ='(
She remembers the bittersweet argument she had with her husband,their dirty jokes awhile ago now seem so empty.
She even talk alone imagining her husband is really there with her.
She dont know what to do. She just wants her husband back in her life.
She missed him sooo much. I can feel her mannnnn. ='(

She cooped herself in her house for 1wk w/o contacting anyone else.
Her mum and bestfriends came to her house to surprise her on her 30th bday n was shocked to see the condition of the house
n the state shes in. N she said that she is not expecting any company.
They managed to calm her n began cleaning her house for her.
Suddenly someone sent her a bday cake.
She opened it and stated "HAPPY BDAY, FROM JERRY."
Which was frm her husband hu just passed away.
N she wants her frens to tell the truth that they are playing a prank on her.
Her friends truthfully denied that it wasnt em hu sent it.

N so since her husband told her to do so, she celebrates her bday with close frens n got drunk. But she still
so hurt inside n cried...
They carried her home...N the nxt morning she feels like dying but
one of her friend called her up n said,"u cant die. U need to read his letters remember?"
She jumped out of the bed and ran to receive another letter from her husband...

N theres where hubby darling & I will continue watching it tonight.
I really hate it the fact her husband died while their story life is just like mine n hubby.

I think this story is to remind us to appreciate n not taking each other for granted..
N doesnt mean u plan for ur future, u managed to grab hold of it.

FINALLY CAN UPDATE!!

Hello ppl,time to show off. heheeeee. =p.
I baked Chocolate Chips Muffins yesterday morning n it turnt out perfectly.
Success. Delicious!
All along ive been using good quality products and expensive chocs,
so if nak jual my price will be up a bit.
I love motivations and compliments from ppl cos it help me boost my self confidence once again! =) heheee. Gawd,im a proud baker. lol. First time buat tros jadi mestila over the moon kan. ='D

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SISTER!

I made special multi chocolate cupcakes for her birthday. I went out from in laws house to my house early in the morning just
to bake cupcakes for her since by 4plus in the evening there will be her bday celebration at grands house. So since its my first time,
n alone in the house, the first cupcakes that ive made were so damn hangus!! shit.I overbaked it! Everything was going so well n delicious. Shldnt have follow exactly the temp n time. Look at this first pic hangos cupcakes blow! aiyah.

Then looking at the time ive left, I start all over again not wanting to give up. I hate it when i already have plan a surprise or something,it turn out the other way round. Ill make sure it turn out the way I want it to. I did it again very carefully and this time im on my own agak2 the temp and timing. N it turn out well! Moderate u can say. =) Just wanna say in life u musnt giveup things halfway. U lost something to e great dissappointment,but if u nvr give up u,ull gain alot of things in a short time. Look at the 2nd cupcakes blow. =) Getting better...

And so the clock is ticking,n I made again the final round of cupcakes. Pls look at the third pic, it turnt out great! Just the colour I want it to be. Dark brown. I made it. Satisfaction guaranteed. It taste damn delicious. Real rich chocolate. Walla! N the next thing im going to make is the beautiful colourful frosting. =) I chose Pink and light red for darling sister.

Trust me! Its messier than this! The tables,the floors. hahahaha. Bro was not dere to inspect of the cleaniness of the house n so as untidy i can be,I took adv of it. =p

First & foremost,
Deepest condolences to Jackson's family.
The only song i knew ever since small sang by him is Black Or White.
But nvr did i realise the original disc 'history' of Michael Jackson is in my house all along.
Top favourites, 'you are not alone', they don't care about us, earth song & black or white.
Im like so into him right now. Watching videos of his past & present & listening to all his songs.
I thought he is just another normal singer but when i watch his videos,he totally blew me away.
Hes totally gifted .
After listening to most of his songs, I knew that he is a man of emotions and feelings.
Even thou he has gone thru alot of hurts,shits n suffered in silence,
his talents is undeniable.
His voice totally 'melts'. especially 'u r not alone.'
He converted to Islam in Nov 2008 n changed his name to Mikaeel at age 50.
N few months later at the same age 50 yrs old, he died.
Strange are the ways of God. What can i say. Alhamdullilah...
But Kesian tk kesampaian whatever he intended to do...
He was healthy 2 days ago, n the nxt moment,hes dead.

Have u ever imagine urself in that state?
The day before u were healthy n happy n on e nxt day suddenly u die?

Im so frustrated.
I ordered something from one of my contacts in multiply.
We even promised to meet up at Woodlands yesterday.
But very disappointing,she did not show up.
Totally waste my time,energy & money by going all the way from
Bedok to Woodlands just to meet her.
I even tried contacting and msging her but to no avail upon reaching there.
So i demanded an esplaination from her.
Yes,she has forgotten abt our meetup and went to overseas instead,
last minute booking for her fiancee's bday.
Still, im surprised by my maturity in handling the matter in the sense that
both party ended in a good way.
My mistake was that before going out, i did not try to contact her
as i assumed we already planned and promised to meet up yesterday.
Her mistake was that she forgot abt the meeting, promises,
n din even inform me abt it.
In e end,yg waste time,penat smue is definitely me & hubby.
But even thou i knew she has greater mistakes den me,
i did apologise time and again.
Tak rugi kalau kite ader sifat merendahkan diri just to damaikan suasana.
Afterall, she is also a muslim.
N it ends well.

But I cant blame her totally cos sometimes in life we tend to forgot abt the impt things

Guess what. My boss gifted me the most expensive handbag in her shop & the beautiful chain.
She insisted me to choose and take any bag from her shop which I did. I chose white bcos
I nvr had any white bag before cos it tend to get dirty easily. But I cant help it. White bags are really attractives. N guess what, the black handbag which i always go out with, I saw 2 Filipinas
wore exactly the same bag as I am. hahah. Frustrating. In fact,I have alot of handbags at home.
Just couldnt get enuf of it & keep wanting MORE bags. =) The other time she already gifted me a beautiful pink purse. Thanks Mrs Wong. *grins*

Allen went back to his country roots in a performance alongside Keith Urban while Lambert reveled in the opportunity to play alongside Kiss.

Just before the results were announced, the two finalists sang together in a performance of Queen's anthem "We Are the Champions."

Yet while it was Lambert who had been expected to be crowned champion, it was college student Allen who walked with the prize that will see him given a recording contract.
